Job Description
GEM’s Fund Operations team is at the heart of all of GEM’s investment activity. Our team’s responsibilities include Trading, Portfolio and Product Structuring, Portfolio Monitoring, Accounting, and Reporting. Each of these sub-teams rely upon each other and all of GEM relies on Fund Operations. We are seeking two Summer Analysts who possess:

GEM’s Operations Summer Analysts will work in a multi-disciplinary environment and gain exposure to the inner workings within the firm. They will be supported as they learn how an endowment-style portfolio operates. They will development an understanding of the various stages of an investment’s life cycle across a broad array of sub-asset classes. Throughout each of these stages, they will learn, shape, and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities
The position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Production of monthly and quarterly performance, exposure, and risk reporting
• Analysis of several portfolio asset allocations
• Directly support CIO in trading and data transparency
• Synthesis of accounting data
• Development of data aggregation models
• Support investment team objectives and produce information to inform investment decisions
• Work diligently in a fast-paced environment while advancing GEM’s collaborative culture
