Job Description
Are you an experienced commercial leader with a passion for driving sales growth and delivering excellent clinical outcomes across the EMEA region? Do you excel in managing distributor relationships and supporting healthcare professionals? We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead our distributor markets and ensure success in both sales and patient care.

What will you do?

Sales & Profitability for EMEA Distributor Markets:

  • Lead commercial activities to meet and exceed sales and profitability targets across the EMEA region.
  • Provide regular forecasts (monthly, quarterly, annual) and detailed performance reports to senior management.
  • Manage and support distributor teams to achieve country-specific sales goals through hands-on training and guidance.
  • Demonstrate best practices through fieldwork, leading by example for distributor employees.
  • Become the regional expert in surgical techniques, product knowledge, and clinical data to support distributor and surgeon success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, Key Opinion Leaders, and members of the Corneal Advisory Board.
  • Attend surgeries and collaborate with R&D, commercial, and clinical teams to ensure proper product use and explore potential improvements.
  • Support marketing initiatives focused on raising awareness of Corneal Health and Glaucoma, working closely with digital platforms.
  • Stay ahead of market competition by understanding competitor activities in Corneal Health and Glaucoma.

  • Implement the value proposition of our products across assigned markets, ensuring alignment with local healthcare systems.
  • Maintain full understanding of the region's reimbursement, funding, and coding systems.
  • Ensure distributors comply with contractual obligations and our Code of Conduct.
General Support:
  • Adapt to changing market conditions and proactively manage essential tasks as commercial needs arise.
  • Regularly communicate with distributor teams and senior management to ensure aligned strategies and successful operations.
  • Continuously update business plans and MBOs (Management by Objectives) to drive quarterly and annual sales performance.
How will you get there?
  • A bachelor's degree in business, policy, economics, science, or healthcare-related fields, or 5+ years of experience in a medical commercial environment with progressive management responsibilities.
  • At least 3 years of commercial field sales experience in the medical device industry, preferably within an indirect sales environment working with distributor partners.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations to physicians, investigators, and distributors.
  • Knowledge of healthcare economics, epidemiology, quality of life, and clinical research is preferred.
  • A proven track record of setting and achieving objectives.
  • Expertise in educating and providing hands-on training to physicians and investigators.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
