Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Telecom Value Added Systems and Tools Architect to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative value-added systems and tools that enhance our telecom offerings and drive business growth. You will play a critical role in translating business needs into technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure, and optimizing performance for maximum efficiency.

In this role, you'll:
- Lead the architecture and design of new value-added systems and tools, including voice platforms, AI/ ML, data analytics platforms, and back-office systems.
- Deeply understand the telecom landscape and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and revenue generation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing) to define technical requirements and ensure successful implementation of solutions.
- Develop Network Tools, data analytics platforms and pipelines to extract insights from network data and drive business decisions.
- Design develop Value added Services / products in AI/ML, predictive analytics, IoT, Streaming platforms, Storage systems etc
- Design and implement integrations between value-added systems and back-office systems, such as billing, CRM, and fraud detection.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and specifications.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking ways to improve existing systems and develop new solutions.
At a minimum we'd like you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in architecting and developing telecommunications systems, preferably including VAS platforms, data analytics platforms, and back-office systems, telecom network architecture, protocols, and standards.
- Experience in AI/ML, Predictive Analytics, Streaming technologies, storage solutions
- Experience of programming languages and scripting tools (Python, Java, SQL) is essential and design experience of backoffice Network Tools, OSS, BSS
- Experience in written and verbal communication. Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, both technical and non-technical.
It's preferred if you have:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, related field or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of experience in designing, implementing VAS and Telecom products and systems
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience of working in GCP
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $139,000 - $203,000 K + bonus + equity + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
