As a Small Business Field Sales Representative (FSR), your primary responsibility is to grow Google Fiber's market share across the small business customer segment in your respective territory by offering commercial internet and voice services to small businesses. You will build owner/decision maker relationships and align our offerings to the customers' needs. Additionally, you will interact with cross-functional teams and leverage the right resources to maximize the best customer outcomes.
In this role, you'll:
- Consistently meets or exceeds sales quota within territory by strong prospecting and account management skills
- Effectively strategizes to develop sales territory and generate new leads by actively canvassing, cold-calling, and developing relationships with businesses and business partners
- Acts as a team "lead" with coaching, mentoring and training responsibilities
- Acts as the liaison between Channel Head of Sales and reps with regular communication, updates and trainings
- Understands the importance of, and executes on building a strong sales funnel, meeting or exceeding key performance indicators
- Ensures that the team accurately updates the CRM tool timely and regularly.
- Displays a strong knowledge of Google Fiber's network and technical deployment. Communicates the Google Fiber value proposition to commercial businesses
- Owns partial responsibility over team performance
At a minimum we'd like you to have:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 2 years of experience with quota carrying sales or strategic account management experience, preferably in the ISP or telecom industry.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Must have a valid driver's license.
It's preferred if you have:
- Proven track record of strong work ethic, ability to navigate ambiguity, and solid communication skills.
- 3+ years of experience with quota carrying sales or strategic account management experience, preferably in the ISP or telecom industry.
- Proficient in SalesForce or other industry leading lead management software.
- Effective relationship builder and partnership developer.
- Demonstrated success managing long-term relationships and meeting customer care success metrics
- Experience leading a team of sellers
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
