Job Description Summary
The Operations Leader will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end quality of HR Lifecycle and Workforce Administration process delivery in the region. The Operations Leader will manage a team of onboarding and workforce administration (hires, job changes, exits, organizational change) specialists and provide compliant wing-to-wing process delivery. This is a strategic role responsible for building a brand-new team in GE Vernova to support the transformation of our Workforce administration and lifecycle services.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Partner across the Vernova People Ops team to help design a future state organization that is positioned to deliver a seamless service experience. Ensure the team has the resources necessary to perform their job responsibilities.
- Lead a team that designs onboarding, offboarding and lifecycle programs and policies (in compliance with federal/ state requirements).
- Produce and deliver required employee communications, champion employee experience, manage seamless service experience for tier 2 escalations.
- Develop and monitor - Transaction Risk Controls and KPIs and SOPs and vendor operational metrics monitoring maintained through Daily Management and MOR routines.
- Operations team management, coaching, performance review, resource management, priority setting.
- Foster a "one team" environment with your team members as you mentor and coach them to grow their impact and collaboration within the business.
- Create a strategic partnership with key outsourced suppliers to drive strong performance and collaboration.
- Manage and hold vendors accountable to contractual and operational targets in the workforce admin/ lifecycle space.
- Sustain the LEAN Mindset essentially coach our People Ops Team in the problems solve, keep them trained and updated in LEAN methodology.
- Develop strong working relationships within the HR community and across peer groups to ensure effective communication and influence decisions, accordingly.
- Drive GE Vernova's high standards of ethics and compliance within the team.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Broad experience in HR Operations/Service Delivery in multi-national companies or large corporation roles.
- Significant prior professional work experience with demonstrated achievement and leadership in Benefit plans, and/or Operations/Service-oriented environment.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in direct people leadership
- Travel may be required, as needed, to support the team and customers within the region.
- To be successful in this role, you will need to have the ability to work in a complex and rapidly changing work environment across multiple stakeholder groups and countries, with comfort and efficiency.
- Fluency in regional languages and/or English knowledge both verbal and written.

- Operational experience in payroll and benefits delivery
- Experience working with outsourced providers.
- Experience in Lean management
- Sound project management skills, strategic thinking ability, process capability and analytical. skills, with the ability to deliver results by supporting activities from concept to implementation.
- Strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify and present the creative/collaborative solutions in partnership with plan owners.

- Proficiency in HR systems (ex. Workday) and technologies.
- Proven record of managing metrics, including analysis, identifying trends, and making timely decisions.
- Cultural awareness & sensitivity: ability to flex style to suit differing cultural norms.
- Ability to anticipate and resolve challenges.
- Ability to drive process improvements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Solid understanding of applicable regional legislative programs/processes
