Job Description Summary
The Generator Winder, will have technical knowledge and experience working with GE / Alstom / O'OEM large Generators . He/she is responsible for the on-site repair , as a Winder you will perform complicated operations involving the inspection, repair, replacement, installation and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical components in turbine Generators with emphasis on the Generator Stator and rotating Field .

What you'll do :
As a Winder you will:
- Perform mechanical disassembly / reassembly of generator rotors in high quality and timely fashion - (to include removal and installation of coupling, fans, retaining rings, blower hubs, wedges, blocking)
- • Perform major and minor repairs on Generator Stator ( End winding Repairs /
- Full stator Rewinds / Wedging / Applying Chemicals / RTD connections / High voltage bushing replacement and all other related repairs )
- Perform this work using drawings, work procedures or work orders with minimal supervision.
- Braze either by torch, carbon or induction.
- Perform all electrical tests and inspections.
- Troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues.
What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)
- Must have achieved a High School Diploma, GED Or equivalent Two-year technical or Trade School Degree.
- Significant years of experience on conducting and performing large generator repairs inclusive of (Generator Stator rewinds / Generator stator re-wedge / High voltage bushing replacement / End winding repairs / Generator rotor repairs / Brazing / etc.. ) in industrial and/or utility power plant.
- Performing mechanical component disassembly / reassembly work on large
- generators.
- Having experience on conducting testing / inspection of generators in excess of 80 Megawatts .
- English language is a must.
Eligibility Requirements :
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States .
- Ability and willingness to travel on short notice to customer sites located domestically and internationally 100% of the time .
- Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain unescorted access to a nuclear
- fueled facility.
- Ability and willingness to work overtime and weekend shifts.
- Must pass drug and background screens.

- Accomplished skills in their trade with experience on PG Equipment.
- Ability or prior experience leading or supervising a team .
- Basic Computer Skills.
