This program will equip you with the skills and qualifications needed to become a highly skilled Wind Turbine Technician, contributing to our dynamic wind construction, service and maintenance operations. Candidates will complete a Level 3 Maintenance & Operations Engineering Technician apprenticeship.

• Be diligent, punctual and behave in a responsible manner and in accordance with the requirements of Health and Safety legislation relating to the apprentice's responsibilities as an individual and always promote the company's best interests.
• Strive to meet targets and achieve WTG technician accreditation.
• Engage in training, courses, and work assignments to meet apprenticeship standards.
• Gain practical experience and theoretical knowledge, obtaining recognized wind industry qualifications, which are recognised and fully transferable.
• Participate in construction activities of GE's WTG's with excellent communication and adherence to work processes.
• Demonstrate teamwork, motivation, and pride in your work.

• Five GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C (4) or above, including Maths, English, and Science.
• Proficiency in English.
• Comfortable working at heights and in remote environments.
• Strong commitment to the role and apprenticeship.
• Confident personality with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in teams.
• Good problem-solving skills and IT proficiency, especially with Microsoft packages.

• Year 1 will be full time college attendance (with onsite experience during term breaks), subsequent years will involve rotations to different sites, with day release to attend college.
• Travel to different sites required- UK driver's license desirable.
• Must have the right to work in the UK full-time.
• At the point of offer, there will be an Offshore Medical and Fitness Test to pass.
• Weight limit set at 136 kilos, including climbing equipment, due to safety harness requirements.
