Job Description Summary
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Carry out wind resource and energy yield assessments for prospective investment sites for GE Vernova Financial Services across the globe using:- Wind resource datasets as available and appropriate for the stage of the project, i.e. meso-scale, Large Eddy Simulation (LES), on-site wind measurement data etc. This will include raw wind data processing, data quality checks, correlation with the most appropriate long term data source/s, wind flow and wake modelling, spatial and vertical extrapolation etc.
- Identify, analyse and quantify different sources of energy losses so as to arrive at a credible net saleable annual average energy estimate.
- Identify, analyse and quantify different sources of uncertainty to provide credible energy yields with different probabilities of exceedance ("P" values) at both gross and net levels.
