Job Description Summary

Als Werkstudent (m/w/d) für Legal unterstützt Du das Legal Team Central Europe in der Verhandlungs- und Abwicklungsphase von Energietechnikprojekten in Zentraleuropa. In einem internationalen Arbeitsumfeld wirst Du eng mit dem Head of Legal Europe Central and North, mit den Senior Counsels sowie mit anderen Funktionen zusammenarbeiten und gewinnst Einblick in die tägliche Arbeit der Rechtsabteilung eines internationalen Energietechnikunternehmens.

As a Working Student (m/f/d) for Legal you will support the Legal Team Central Europe in the negotiation and execution phase of energy technology projects in Central Europe. In an international working environment, you will work closely with the Head of Legal Europe Central and North, Senior Counsels and other functions and gain insight into the daily work of the legal department of an international energy technology company.

• Unterstützung des Legal Teams bei der Prüfung von Verträgen sowie bei der Vor- und Nachbereitung von Vertragsverhandlungen und bei der Bearbeitung von Forderungen
• Teilnahme an internen oder externen Verhandlungen und Besprechungen
• Durchführung von Recherchearbeiten zu juristischen Fragestellungen
• Pflege von Datenbanken
• Unterstützung bei administrativen Aufgaben

• Studium der Rechtswissenschaften oder des Wirtschaftsrechts (Universität oder FH)
• Grund- oder vertiefte Kenntnisse im allgemeinen Zivil- und Wirtschaftsrecht

• Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse; gerne auch weitere Fremdsprachenkenntnisse
• Eigeninitiative, Kommunikationsgeschick, Interesse an vielfältigen Fragestellungen rund um komplexe Energietechnikprojekte

• Supporting the legal team in reviewing contracts, preparing and following up on contract negotiations and claim management
• Participation in internal or external negotiations and meetings
• Research work on legal issues
• Maintaining databases
• Support with administrative tasks

• Studies in law or business law (university or university of applied sciences)
• Basic or in-depth knowledge of general German civil and commercial law
• Fluency in German and English; additional foreign language skills are also welcome
• Initiative, communication skills, interest in a wide range of issues relating to complex energy technology projects
