Job Description Summary

Technical Sales Engineer responsible for external facing consultation on complex software opportunities that require in-depth domain knowledge of the GridOS platform.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate technical, architectural, and business discussions regarding the GridOS platform, with our existing customers and prospects.
  • Feedback product requirements to the internal teams,
  • Collaborate with the centralized pre-sales engagement team to manage cloud-based demonstration environments.

Technical Expertise Required:

  • Ability to consult prospects and customers on aligning outcomes with desired technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-ready architectures, including Kubernetes, Microservices, and containers.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity regulations and standards.
  • Working towards or possessing AWS or Azure Architect qualifications.
  • Ability to guide early-stage customer interactions and integrate modern software with legacy systems.
  • Nice to have : Working knowledge of Kotlin, Helm, Apache Arrow, and SQL.

Leadership Skills:

  • Ability to foresee obstacles, identify workarounds, and leverage internal and external resources.
  • Experience in contributing to blended teams, including third-party partners and customer personnel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and influence across all organizational levels.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build consensus within IT teams and leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in a relevant field.
  • This role may require travelling up to 20%.
