Job Description Summary
The Sustainability Project Manager will report into the Sustainability Director and Executive Human Rights Counsel for GE Vernova. The Sustainability Project Manager will be responsible to support the execution of key projects and programs including CSRD reporting, biodiversity, sustainability and human rights training, human rights strategic projects, and other key sustainability programs and initiatives in close coordination and collaboration with the Sustainability team. This position will support the Corporate and business sustainability function.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support in the development and execution of key sustainability initiatives that align with GE Vernova's Sustainability Framework, leading goals, and regulatory requirements.
- Support businesses with their program implementation and adherence to the sustainability program enterprise standards.
- Report on sustainability program maturity and progress in close collaboration with key sustainability support functions and business teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, both internal and external, to support the execution and implementation of sustainability efforts.
- Research on emerging sustainability trends including benchmarking, best practices, and relevant regulations to ensure compliance and innovation.
- Help develop sustainability and human rights training and communications content and work with the team on cascading all content through the organization.
- Develop project plans to support implementation and execution of key sustainability projects and initiatives.
- Implement operational rigor and drive accountability with the business units for new sustainability and human rights program areas including biodiversity, among others.
- Stay abreast of new regulations and developments as it relates to human rights, sustainability, and ESG.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in related subject area
- Full time (40 hours/week) commitment
- Ability to work well with others
- Minimum of 3-5 years in sustainability, ESG, environmental management, human rights, or a related field.
- Possess independent analytical skills
- Ability to analyze data and conduct data assessments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and work with cross-functional teams

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong research, verbal, and written communication skills
- Self-starter and strong work ethic
- Preferred candidates also will possess international experience, foreign language skills, and an interest in sustainability, human rights, and compliance
