Steam Outage Optimization Coordinator (M/F/D)

Job Description Summary

As a Steam Outage Optimization Coordinator, you will support the APAC/EMENAT Outage Optimization Program by assisting outage teams to proactively identify outage candidates and facilitate the program through the end-to-end process. You will leverage your organizational skills to coordinate assignments with OO/ITR Engineering teams, enter in ER cases for APAC region, collect program data and ensure on-time delivery.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Proactively engaging with the sub region outage teams to understand their seasonal outage opportunities
  • Manage program data in the End-to-End process while collaborating with APAC/EMENAT functional teams that support the process of performing and delivering and OO review
  • Process all Outage Optimization nomination, assign review to Outage Optimization Fulfillment Engineer/ITR engineer and for APAC/EMENAT.
  • Facilitate Outage Optimization Program outage review activities (Technical Reviews, Commercial Reviews, Post-outage closeouts).
  • Proactively working with sub-region sales and operation teams to understand their upcoming steam outage pipeline and equipment events that would benefit from outage planning assistance by the Steam Outage Optimization program.
  • Post-outage, collaborate with OO Technical Lead, to collect data and incorporate data into a post outage analysis for OO Global Manager.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college or a High School diploma with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the field
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of MS applications
  • Strong analytical and processing skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in matrix organization

Desired qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of a Steam Turbine and Generator
  • Self-motivated and dedicated.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing based on business priorities.
  • Knowledge of Smartsheet, Tableau and PowerNow
  • Knowledge of PS outage planning and execution processes
  • Willing to think out of the box and challenge the existing status quo
