As a technical product manager, you will be part of the Vernova Network Site Services team, acting as a lead technical engineer primarily for wireless technologies. Main objective will be to design and architect GE Vernova's new wireless network strategy. Managing tech-dept, introducing new cutting-edge technologies across our IT and OT network portfolio.

Essential Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Lead the wireless engineering of network products for Vernova site standards globally across all network products within GE Vernova.
- Work with network architecture and build teams to develop migration plans and assist in transforming the inherited network from GE to our new to GE Vernova Site Services standards.
- Define technologies for future state GE Vernova site services management - automation, monitoring, provisioning, vulnerability management, reporting. Work closely with network MSP to implement mentioned solutions.
- Spearhead the design discussions for all Network site services and align closely to Network architecture principles.
- Lead technical efforts to standardize and simplify site product offerings across all network products within GE Vernova.
- Contribute to the designs and deployment of network infrastructure solutions meeting standardization, consolidation, total cost of ownership, security, regulatory compliance and application system qualities.
- Lead the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum 4 years of experience in architecting and implementing network technologies
- Experience:
- Designing and implementing wireless technologies, predominantly Cisco and Meraki
- Experience with Ekahau or AirMagnet site survey software
- Proven hands-on experience with conducting site surveys, Wi-Fi heat maps, wireless designs
- Advantage will be implementing WAN and LAN site technologies, predominantly on Cisco and Meraki platforms
- Deep understanding of LAN architecture including site networks, including SDWAN solutions.
- Deep understanding of Cisco Wireless Product Portfolio
- Knowledge of switching and routing protocols, technologies (like BGP,OSPF, STP as a minimum)
Desired qualifications:
- CCIE level certification in domain relevant to this position
- Cisco / Meraki wireless specialized certificates
- Hands on experience with Automation tools and software-defined networking (SDN)
- Designing and implementing automated network provisioning solutions.
