Role Summary/Purpose:
To Lead, Manage & execute Projects of GE Grid Solutions - Power Transmission business in Australia and New Zealand Region countries and manage complete unit financial results Sales and CM to meet the budget. Reporting to the ANZ Operations Leader, you will be primarily responsible for Project management from contract award up to the final acceptance of the project and warranty period as well as training and coaching of project managers. Project management includes planning, control, tracking, installation, maintenance & testing, and commissioning.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Creating project schedule and procurement plan to ensure smooth project execution in timely manner with quality within cost.
- Providing cost-effective execution of project milestones in accordance with contract specifications and quality standards to maintain and improve project margin.
- Strong contract and negotiations management skills to secure variations Orders & negotiating claims with customer & sub-contractors to leverage in the organization interest.
- Creating and delivering scope-specific work plans and budgets, alongside risk assessments
- Identifies and evaluates risk and opportunity assessments and ensuring implementation of resulting actions in one's area of responsibility.
- Ability to overview complete project financial P&L, project backlog and report in timely manner.
- Participate in strategic planning for the customer management, tendering, business growth and commercial intensity expansion.
- Training and coaching of projects managers and processes in the region.
- Preparing and presenting Project Management Review (PMR) to management
- Managing and coordinating with customers/contractors in project execution in line with GE project management handbook
- Executing projects in accordance to GE Grid process and core values of safety and integrity
- Delivering project with forecast accuracy for Sales & Margin, billing, and cash collection
- Participate with the Lean actions and delivering on the KPI's.
- Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Drive Customer Quality complaints & Non-conformity of Product with different stake holders on root cause analysis and resolution process.
- Report/resolve any non-conformances and process in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate EHS and compliance ensuring Zero Deviation
- Identifies and evaluate EHS and compliance risks and proposes practical measures.
- Support tendering/sales with Return of Experience
