The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Roles and Responsibilities
- Establish objectives and routines of the direct reports.
- Supervise daily routine and alignment with the objectives of the direct reports.
- Assess performance and provide feedback of the direct reports.
- Support and develop direct reports.
- Perform all the supervisory duties related to the direct reports via GE systems (vacations planning and approval, timecard review and approval, etc.).
- Support production issues. Design, monitor and optimize manufacturing process.
- Bill of material management.
- QCR/ECR document development. WI, forms or lists to support production
- Statistical methods to estimate future requirements and potential.
- Manage test closes for all blade models.
- Attend training courses and conferences to participate in professional area.
- Review TIL (total item list) to ensure compliance with global list.
- • Provide technical expertise to optimize and troubleshoot critical process equipment.
- Conduct technical process audits for IPE.
- Support launch of new products or variants.
- Identify and work to solve safety hazards locally, regionally and globally.
- Review & take actions to maintain CTQ goals.
- Be involved with global engineers to trial projects to implement globally.
- Participate in internal audits and create, delegate or help resolve any open site CAPA.
- Participate in Kaizen, FFG, LEAP, LMPS or other continuous improvement/cost savings activities.
- Participate in root cause analysis for a blade scrap or a loss in production capacity.
- Implement ergonomic improvements.
- Lead cross-functional teams on plantwide improvement initiatives.
- Identify, implement, and share best practices.
- Support production teams to increase Work Instruction compliance

Required Qualifications
- Four-year degree in engineering or closely related field required.
- Three years' experience in engineering.
Desired Characteristics
- English comprehension for effective work-related verbal and written communication.
- Strong Computer Knowledge (MS Office, CAD)
- Analytical and creative thinking. Problem solver.
- Can work both independently and with a team.
- Can lead a cross-functional team.
- Some travel required. Must be able to adapt to different cultures.
- Average knowledge on any 3D modelling software (Inventor, Solidwork, Creo, etc).
- Rapid prototyping using 3D modelling and 3D printing technologies.
- Previous manufacturing and composite experience preferred
- Lean 6 Sigma Green Belt, Project Management, or similar
