Roles & Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze and share comprehensive regional and global electricity market data affecting GE Vernova and the outlook for new equipment and services orders across its portfolio.

• Become an expert user of GE Vernova's Global Power Outlook, a 10-year forecast of capacity orders and generation across 60+ countries and regions for all generation technologies.

• Serve as the primary point-of-contact for market data and analysis requests from GEV leadership, business units, and functional organizations (such as Investor Relations and Communications).

• Evaluate and synthesize third-party reports on global power markets and industry trends affecting the generation and capacity additions mix by technology and fuel.

• Present regional & global market dynamics to top leadership across the business and externally with customers, analysts, and media as needed.

• Build and maintain complex models for use in developing and sharing the output from GE Vernova's Global Power Outlook.

• Work with sales and commercial teams across GE Vernova to establish a consolidated and comprehensive near-term pipeline and outlook for new plant orders and additions.

• Support GE Vernova businesses with targeted market research and analytics to help establish strategy for investments and their associated returns.

• Maintain an awareness of and evaluate potential market disruptions and emerging opportunities across the power sector.

• Perform assessments of specific regional energy and climate policies & incentives affecting the mix of generation and capacity additions. Work across GE Vernova businesses to facilitate consensus view on implication of policy on the generation and capacity additions mix.

• Develop recommendations and provide feedback to improve forecasting methodologies to maximize impact and more effectively serve the broader GEV business.

• Leverage an independent and resourceful mindset to create customized analyses and responses to inquiries received by the Market Outlook and Forecasting team.

• Contribute to the development of the Global Electrification Outlook, a new forecasting initiative that will focus on creating a relevant 10-yr market outlook GE Vernova's grid business.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Economics from an accredited university or college

• Minimum 5 years of experience in in the Power Generation Industry

The base pay range for this position is 147,800.00 - 197,100.00 . The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus of 15%. This posting is expected to remain open until at least October 31st, 2024.
