Role Overview:

The Coated Buckets Production Control Leader is responsible for driving operational excellence and strategic leadership in production control within the Greenville materials team. This role requires a focus on optimizing production processes, aligning with business goals, and enhancing supply chain efficiency through innovative methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Master Planning & Material Management: Oversee master planning activities, manage material processes and systems, and ensure operational alignment with production plans and KPIs.
  • Heijunka Sequencing & Rate Setting: Develop and implement rate-setting strategies based on Heijunka sequencing to ensure balanced production flow and resource utilization.
  • Collaborative Planning: Develop and utilize capacity planning tools to drive collaborative action plans, supply projections, and future schedule requirements.
  • Capacity Planning for Lean Lines: Lead capacity planning initiatives for lean production lines, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting customer demands effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to execute the master production schedule, meeting customer needs and business objectives while maximizing supply chain velocity.
  • Scheduling & Fulfillment: Manage scheduling processes to ensure on-time delivery and develop recovery plans and prioritizations to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving: Spearhead root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts for any delivery misses on lean lines, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Performance Culture: Foster a culture of rigor around planning and scheduling processes to achieve 100% budget attainment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with operations, finance, and other leaders to provide periodic fulfillment estimates and align materials management strategies with business objectives.
  • Mentorship & Development: Mentor and empower team members to achieve goals related to schedule adherence and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (or high school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment) and a minimum of 3 additional years in materials, planning, scheduling, or inventory management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong business and analytical skills, with a working knowledge of spreadsheets, including MS Excel.
  • Leadership & Communication: Proven oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials management disciplines, including production and inventory control.

The base pay range for this position is $103,100.00 - 137,400.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
