Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
Be responsible on continuous improvement of the product delivery process. Capture system level installation and maintenance requirements. Oversee the software development CI/CD process, functioning as an expert in system deployment and configuration and be instrumental in driving migration to a full DevOps solution. Create and maintain product installation and configuration material for use by delivery engineers. Seek to streamline the product deployment process with a strong focus on quality. Integrate software applications. Design solutions integration and work with Product Architects to improve system scalability and exceed performance requirements. Perform software development, scripting, configuration, installation, and testing tasks. Complete advanced tasks in diagnosing and fixing systems and applications problems. Interface with project managers, project engineers, and customers on general and specific issues within area of functional expertise. Function as an integral member of the agile product development team, performing assigned system integration, and testing tasks. Work directly with the product developers, project engineers, or customers to resolve product technical issues. Provide support for product demonstrations to potential customers and industry events.

Qualifications / Requirements:
Position requires a Bachelor's Degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) and 7 years of experience in a related occupation. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education and experience as equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor's degree as determined by a recognized credential evaluation service. The position also requires: 4 years of experience with software design, development, testing and/or operational administration experience with a strong focus on quality throughout the entire build and delivery cycle; 3 years of DevOps experience in SaaS environments; 4 years of experience implementing large-scale operational automation platforms; 3 years of experience deploying distributed systems in secure environments on Windows and Linux servers; 3 years of experience with highly available distributed Windows and Linux server environments; 2 years of experience with deployments to virtualized systems using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, vSphere, or AWS; 2 years of experience with cloud-based infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or OpenTofu; 3 years of experience with highly complex hardware and software configurations in a real-time; 2 years of programming experience with either complied languages (such as C#, Java, or C++) or scripted languages (such as Python, JScript, or PowerShell); 1 year of experience with modern version control systems, such as Git, TFS, or Subversion; 3 years of experience with build, CI, and deployment tools, such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Artifactory; 1 year of experience with software scanning tools like JFrog Xray, Coverity and WhiteSource. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to GE office in Bellevue, WA.
Salary for this position is $162,531/yr
For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $162,531 to $197,340.00 annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 10% variable incentive compensation.
