Spécialist(e), gestion du cycle de vie du produit (PLM) pour l'ingénierie

Se rapportant au Responsable de l'ingénierie, définition du produit, le spécialiste en gestion du cycle de vie du produit pour l'ingénierie devra travailler conjointement avec notre département d'ingénierie de produit et le département des achats pour les supporter dans la gestion de nos alternateurs et turbines hydrauliques durant leurs cycles de vies dans notre outil PLM.

Responsabilités :

  • Donner les formations et le support aux nouveaux employés de l'ingénierie sur l'outil PLM
  • Assurer l'application des processus associés à l'outil PLM
  • Donner le support aux départements d'ingénierie et des achats dans les cas de modification du cycle de vie du produit.
  • Supporter les contractuels dans l'utilisation de l'outil PLM
  • Valider l'information reçu de l'ingénierie avant de le faire créer dans l'outil PLM.
  • Valider avec le département des achats toutes modifications avant de le faire créer dans l'outil PLM.

Exigences :

  • Baccalauréat en génie Industriel, opérations-logistique ou en génie
  • Connaissance des concepts des outils " Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) et " Enterprise Resource Planning " (ERP)
  • Bonne compréhension des dessins d'ingénierie.
  • Bonne compréhension des étapes manufacturières.
  • Maîtrise du français et l'anglais (parlé et écrit) - L'employé(e) sera amené(e) à interagir de manière fluide avec des collègues de nos autres installations à travers et/ou à l'extérieur du Canada, et qui sont généralement incapables de communiquer en français et dont la langue de travail est principalement l'anglais.

Engineering Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Specialist

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, Product Definition, the specialist in product lifecycle management (PLM) for engineering will have to work jointly with our product engineering department and the purchasing department to support them in the management of our generators and hydraulic turbines during their lifecycles in our PLM tool.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide training and support to new engineering employees on the PLM tool
  • Ensuring the application of the processes associated with the PLM tool
  • Provide support to the engineering and purchasing departments in the event of modification of the product lifecycle.
  • Support contractors in the use of the PLM tool
  • Validate the information received from engineering before having it created in the PLM tool.
  • Validate with the purchasing department any modifications before having it created in the PLM tool.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, operations-logistics or engineering
  • Knowledge of the concepts used on Product Life Management (PLM) / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools.
  • Good understanding of engineering drawings in general.
  • Good understanding of the manufacturing steps.
  • Fluent in French and English (spoken and written) - The employee will be required to interact fluidly with colleagues from our other facilities across and/or outside of Canada, and who are generally unable to communicate in French and whose working language is mainly English.
