Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide project leadership for specific Sourcing programs either globally or regionally. Supports the execution of the programs.
  • Shape the Commodity Lean vision, in accordance with the business lean strategy, and translate the vision into goals, objectives and strategies resulting in cross-functional cultural change which delivers consistent, year-over-year results across all sites (and logistics) that are a part of the Value Chain.
  • Use Lean to drive inventory reduction target, increasing inventory turns.
  • Develop a strong operating rhythm, and clear outcomes with the Value Streams and Sourcing teams.
  • Hold Kaizen activities within the commodities and with suppliers.
  • Improve On Time Delivery from the supplier that will support the Value Stream's targeted KPI's.
  • Work with the commodity managers to map the extended value streams and identify opportunities, build a roadmap to success.
  • Work with Sites, Engineering and Suppliers to improve the quality of products being received.
  • Communicate with the Value Stream's and Sourcing team of activities and challenges.
  • Share best practices and act as a conduit to accelerate cross business progress.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and at least 7 years' experience in sourcing and/or manufacturing operations with proven track record of results using Lean methodologies.

Desired Characteristics

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive cross functional cultural change.
  • Executive level presentation skills Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence peers and stakeholders
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
  • Additional cross-functional leadership experience in the areas of finance, engineering, and/or quality is preferred.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt Certification is an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to excel working with Suppliers and multiple support functions.
  • Responsible for meeting customer/business needs.
  • Strong motivator, leader and ability to train when needed on Lean concepts.

The base pay range for this position is $125,000.00 - 166,600.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
