Job Description
As the "Solution Architect - Subsurface Projects", you will create and implement the design of the solution during different phases of the execution of GE PCS NNPPI projects at our Whetstone and Rugby locations.
You will ensure that all requirements are fully understood and translated into clear, traceable action plan & manage the implementation along with a Project Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Be responsible, in coordination with the Services function (Delivery Manager and Project Manager), for interacting with customers to define, produce and maintain optimal design based on customer needs and solution capabilities.
- Facilitate requirements, design and solutions workshops that capture functional and non-functional requirements from the client, and you will own the design deliverables (Statement of Work, Architecture documents), ensure traceability of requirements with solutions proposed.
- Be responsible for the communication and enforcement of Design to Customer and Key Project Stakeholders.
- Manage involvement of other SMEs (e.g. business analysts, IT / Cybersecurity experts) and make sure their design contributions meet system architecture functional and non-functional requirements
- Drive excellence in execution through continuous improvement in their segment or domain (best practices and reference material - reference architectures, reference solutions)
- Collaborate with Product Managers & Engineering (Return on Experience, product enhancements, reference architectures)
- Build technical expertise in the field of their segment or domain. Deliver technical consultancy services on demand
- Be accountable for activities planning, progress reporting, and completing activities in his scope as per approved budget.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience with NNPPI, On-Prem and Air Gapped environments with regards to infrastructure, cyber security tools, and back-up solutions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
- Strong IT knowledge of Regulatory networks and requirements along with out of the box thinking for solution resolutions.
- Strong documentation and communication skills required.
- Flexibility to travel to any customer or supplier site when required to fulfil the requirements of the position. Full UK driving license.
