Job Description Summary
You are responsible for implementation and maintenance of site environmental, health, safety management system, ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory, regulatory, contractual and company requirements.
You will support Site EHS Manager to maintain the site security management system, as applicable. This position leads and manages the subcontractor's site EHS team members.

Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, understand and maintain the EHS project plan. Provide support to communicate and manage all sections of the plan.
- Responsible for safety administration, risk management, EHS training, medical and security related issues that may impact personnel or overall site safety.
- Investigate incidents or near miss events as necessary or required, including compilation and completion of any necessary documentation (Accident investigation or Near miss forms, Gensuite measurements submissions, etc.).
- Analyse root causes to determine safety measures to prevent future incidents and influence the implementation of corrective actions
- Serve as direct liaison with end customer at site in safety task planning with project scope of work, conducting site audits, equipment and PPE inspections.
- Mentor peers and crew in advanced EHS topics and train new Safety Specialists in current processes and procedures.
- Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments.

Required Qualifications
- Engineering Degree or equivalent education in EHS (EHS Management and/or sciences, construction safety, etc.), or other faculty (for instance Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Construction)
- 職業安全衛生管理員 (乙级) 或以上 資格 by local Taiwan authority.
- NEBOSH/IOSH Qualification or equivalent according to local legislation
- At least 5 years of experience in EHS at a construction site, preferably in the power plants and/or oil & gas industry
- Good level of English and Chinese language (both written and spoken)
- Computer skills (ability to learn and master online reporting tools)
- Require to be based at Taichung project site
- Given the nature, the incumbent will need to work on night shift, overtime as and when required.
Desired Characteristics
- Preferably past experience in Power Plant or dealing with Taiwan Power Company;
- Working knowledge on Installation and Commissioning.
- Ability to interact and communicate with people from different cultures.
- Past experience working on mega and complex construction project.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
