The Services Specialist will be a key member of the Professional Services team that is focused on GE Vernova Manufacturing Software products and solutions. You will provide expertise during the post-sales customer lifecycle and engage in professional services, technical support and solution training to ensure outcome attainment and promote customer success. You will act as an individual contributor on these engagements by contributing to technical solution design, development of software application, configuration, testing, integration with enterprise systems. Above all you, must have a passion for learning, and the ability to apply that learning in a practical manner in a team setting to ensure high quality of work. The role has some autonomy and is focused on project execution activities adhering to well defined functional practices and procedures.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
• Contribute to the implementation of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions utilizing the GE Vernova Software Suite of products.
• Contribute to the definition of MES solution architectures and the creation and realization of Solution Use cases and test cases, based on Project requirements.
• Own technical deliverables during the entire lifecycle of assigned projects.
• Engage actively throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to decisions on architecture, design, and functionality and customer expectations.
• Effectively leverage product capability, driving standardization, limiting customization, and maximizing reuse of content developed previously.
• Interact with Product Support Team, Customers, Solution Providers (Partner / Integrators), and other cross-functional teams on solution needs, as required.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with peers and team members in English and Spanish. Be a team player, supporting pre-sale strategy, services consulting efforts, and project execution.
• Learn and apply GE Vernova Project execution methodology and standards.
• Continually enhance technical skills and knowledge
• Work independently while contributing to team based projects.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Software, Electrical, Computer or comparable engineering discipline from an Accredited university.
• Able to legally work in Mexico. This position can work remotely within Mexico.
• Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in industrial software solutions, services or product development functions.
• Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on programming experience in MS-SQL (stored procedures), Javascript, Python.
• Ability and willing to travel on business for a minimum of 30%.
Additional Desired Characteristics
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience with GE Vernova Software products such as Proficy Plant Applications, Cimplicity, Historian OR comparable MES software products.
• Strong exposure to web applications development in HTML5, Angular, RESTful interfaces.
• Experience in Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, automotive or consumer goods industry.
• Software skills in software analysis, design, methodology, and architecture
• Programming experience in software development with Development tools and programming languages, C# using .NET Framework, Java.
• Exposure to data management technologies, including automated data collection, data management, visualization, analytics, SCADA, scheduling, and interface to ERP systems.
• Basic knowledge of networking protocols,
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services and cloud architecture.
