Job Description Summary

This position will drive the execution and planning for all service work for the Schenectady factory. They will create and manage the master schedule for all service work. This role will track the status of all the orders and communicate them to internal and external customers. They will be heavily involved in the SIOP process with the services team to determine overall demand. Works with the team to problem solve and issues that are occurring to keep the orders on track. They will create the master schedule for service parts in the factory.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the detailed schedules for all service units running through the factory.
  • Works with the services SIOP team to understand what the current and future demand will be.
  • Reports out to project managers on as needed basis on the status of their orders.
  • Manages all orders in the ERP system to make sure that the data is accurate and meets the customer needs.
  • Ensure each cells are on track to committed production dates/targets. Look at labor constraints that will be occurring in the future and work with the cell to solve the concern.
  • Work daily with cell leaders to proactivity find and solve potential bottle necks in the production schedule. Communicate to site leadership team with any date changes and help needed to solve potential roadblocks.
  • Track feeder cells to ensure parts are produced in a timely manner to insure they do not delay
  • Use lean tools to work on lead time reduction projects that will help improve schedule attainment and WIP reduction.
  • Lead the on-time delivery metric for service parts in the factory. Work on projects and tools to help improve delivery to our customers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience
  • 3+ years of capital project scheduling experience
  • 2+ years of industrial/manufacturing operations & leadership experience

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

The base pay range for this position is $90K - $120K. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 10/25/24, or thereafter.

The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
