We are seeking a technical, client-focused Solutions Specialist to join our Services team. In this role, you will leverage your understanding of emerging energy industry trends and their impact on utilities to support our GridOS deployments and connect customers with the respective products and solutions. As a "Services Engineer - GridOS", you will implement data models and configuration for electrical network systems, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility through collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role is expected to deliver, develop and tailor GridOS modules to fit the customer needs. This role requires a good understanding of electrical network data structures, GIS technologies and SCADA/ADMS system.

Job Description
As a Services Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in the innovative projects, work with top-tier clients, and leverage the latest technologies in the energy sector and be at the forefront of transforming the energy industry with cutting-edge technology. Your work will directly contribute to creating a sustainable and resilient energy grid. The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the implementation of GridOS solutions, owning technical deliverables to various business cases throughout the project lifecycle.
- Engage with utility clients to understand their business needs and work out how our solutions can align with and support those needs.
- Contribute to the design and development of data models tailored for electrical network data, relevant GridOS systems, supporting business intelligence and analytical needs.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers, Solution Integrators, Technical leads, Delivery Managers and stakeholders regularly ensuring seamless delivery of the tasks.
- Implement best practices in data modelling, ensuring models are optimized for performance, scalability, and integration.
- Integrate models into ETL processes and maintain data pipelines for electrical network.
- Resolves issues using established procedure and consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined standard work.
- Make standard recommendations on workflow, application, interface, reports, testing and uploads to customers throughout the implementation process.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment systems.
- Ensure data quality and consistency through rigorous testing, validation, and documentation.
- Debug software bugs, documenting issues for the testing teams and triaging issues with third parties if required.
- Ensure go-live readiness, provide support, and conduct post-live checkups and will be required to work collaboratively with internal team members and clients to ensure customer satisfaction
- Stay informed of the latest trends and technologies in electrical network systems, recommending improvements as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Essential Criteria:
- Must have good understanding in the IT Systems & Implementation Services.
- Strong understanding of database management systems, SQL, and spatial data concepts.
- Proficient in Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong spoken and written English language skills
- Ability to work independently and also be a team player where/when needed.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Sharing information amongst team and building knowledge repositories.
Desired Characteristics:
- Master's degree.
- Understanding of data modelling, particularly with electrical network data and GIS technologies.
- Experience with FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) or similar tools for data transformation and integration is beneficial.
- Familiar with Git, Confluence, Jira, Ansible, Nexus, Spring, Maven.
- Hands on experience with Kubernetes and Docker technologies
- Hands on experience within REST, Web Services/SOAP, XML, JSON, MQ etc.
- Proficiency in data modelling tools such as ER/Studio, ERwin, MS Access, or similar, and GIS software like ArcGIS or QGIS.
- Experience in CIM data modelling, loading and troubleshooting.
- Cybersecurity knowledge.
- Any certification on cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
- Utility integration experience (SCADA, ADMS, OMS etc.)
