The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key customer relationships, and developing new business opportunities. This role involves guiding deal teams, negotiating high-value contracts, and ensuring sales strategies align with market trends and company objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, experience in commercial sales, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Meet quarterly orders targets by developing and closing opportunities with end-users and relevant customers.
  • Identify, track, and develop project opportunities from early specification to contract signing.
  • Manage a detailed and updated project pipeline, managing demand signals within the system, coordinating with internal business units to maximize opportunities.
  • Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and project requirements.
  • Conduct technical presentations and develop sales strategies tailored to the geographic market.
  • Stay informed of market trends and competitor activity, leveraging insights to adjust sales strategies proactively.
  • Work closely with Finance, Tax, Legal, and Operations teams to coordinate deal approvals and compliance.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving sales excellence.
  • Able to review customer related information for accuracy, preliminary technical checks, ensure compliance before handing them over to relevant departments
  • Possess a strong technical mindset, preferably with a technical background, to assess complex technical information and support in informed decision-making.

Possess knowledge of lean principles with an ability to engage in structured problem solving, eliminate inefficiencies and improve overall performance. The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key customer relationships, and developing new business opportunities. This role involves guiding deal teams, negotiating high-value contracts, and ensuring sales strategies align with market trends and company objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, experience in commercial sales, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, sales, marketing, business, or a related field (Preferably technical background).
  • significant experience in sales, business development, or commercial management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment, services and BoP
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and closing large-scale deals.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for sales tracking and reporting.
  • Availability to travel (over 50% of the time)
