Job Description
Senior Sales Manager
- Builds/has influential relationships with customers at HQ and plant levels with various customer stakeholders up to C-level, as well as supporting the ITR team, and drives strong focus on commercial intensity and process simplification while identifying opportunities for volume and backlog growth.
- Cultivate long term relationships at all levels of customer organization with a customer centric mind set focused on building and improving customer relationships
- Responsible for meeting in partnership with ITR team order intake, margin targets, strategic sales and enabling favorable cash metrics
- Responsible to develop the future pipeline in line with the growth strategy
- Point of contact to develop future complex opportunities and growth initiatives with the customer
- Lead the Sales activities for campaigns to expand account penetration in line with business strategy,
- Create and drive process changes to develop winning strategies for complex opportunities and campaigns.
- Responsible for the implementation into standard work of the HK initiatives for the allocated accounts
- Collect and share market/customer intelligence
- Responsible for customer portfolio growth.
- Develop and execute together with the CSL a growth strategy for the allocated country/customer
- Be knowledgeable of competitive and market environment. Seeking out new insights and market trends to ensure we best understand the needs of customers and provide input and direction to our business priorities
- Accountability to deliver on commitments and communicate progress, needs, and strategies to win in a competitive landscape, meet/exceed target
- Drive in partnership with ITR team success through winning profitable product and service sales within the assigned geography in line with the regional plan, manage costing, pricing, payment and volume predictability issues.
- Identify potential for new product development
- Derive improvement potentials from loss/won orders
