Job Description Summary

You will work as a part of a product management team within the Lifespan application ecosystem. Each member of the team provides specialized areas of focus and expertise which help develop a world class software product for many personas. This position will focus on the Major Component Upgrades persona as its main stakeholder and take ownership of roadmap and feature development that enables faster return to service and improved planning for major component inspection and repair work across the globe.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Be a domain expert for your portfolio, engaging customers and partners at business & technical levels to develop, refine and execute product strategy, roadmap and development lifecycle.
  • Define product OKRs (objectives and key results) and measure business impact and value creation
  • Work with cross-functional, global teams to deliver features and products
  • Own the product roadmap and its integration into a larger application or business strategic roadmap
  • Identify market trends and opportunities, and engage with customers and stakeholders to understand their business goals and motivating factors
  • Demonstrate ability to influence customers, internal stakeholders, partners and peers through credible knowledge and experience, persuasion and influencing skills
  • Lead customer and stakeholder interviews
  • Own the product backlog; continuously groom and ensure that an agreed scope is always ready to move into development
  • Demonstrate knowledge of industry best practices, competitive dynamics and the factors that differentiate GE products in the market
  • Demonstrate substantial experience with the technology stack and its impact on the final product
  • Innovate new business or commercial models that lead to a differentiated GE offer

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering / Science or in related discipline (STEM, Finance, Economics, Business Administration)
  • Minimum 10 years professional experience

Desired Characteristics

  • Minimum of 2 years of digital product development or project management experience
  • Subject matter expertise wind field operations
  • Experience with Agile development methodology / software development lifecycle
  • Experience with business analysis, process improvements / implementation of LEAN

The salary range for this position is $118,600.00 - $197,600.00USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation. This posting is expected to close on July 19th or thereafter.
