The individual will be responsible for analyzing market trends, developing customer value propositions, and defining strategies to address market needs. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyzing market data and customer feedback to identify emerging needs within various industrial segments.
- Work with customers to define the technical solution requirements, controls and communication architecture, and project scope that will lead and be an input to a commercial proposal or product/solution development.
- Collaborating with Grid Automation Product Managers to align the industrial segment's needs with product and solution roadmaps, creating a comprehensive and harmonized portfolio.
- Developing customer value propositions and defining commercial strategies to address the industrial market.
- Coordinating with R&D and product development teams to align product development efforts with market needs and customer requirements.
- Creating and maintaining commercial documentation and ensuring consistency across the portfolio.
- Leading efforts to visit customers and gather feedback to validate product offerings and refine solutions.
- Maintaining strong market awareness and leveraging industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on product priorities and development milestones.
- Delivering reports and presentations to senior leadership on portfolio performance, market trends, and customer needs.
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the industrial segment, with a strong focus on portfolio management or product management.
- Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and coordinating efforts across multiple stakeholders.
- Solid knowledge of industrial automation, grid automation products, and energy management systems.
- Experience in analyzing market data and developing customer-focused value propositions.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
