The Aero Systems & Design is a global organization that supports Gas Turbine & Package product Development for the Aeroderivative business. This position has design ownership for fluid systems associated with the gas turbine & package models throughout the product life cycle.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of experts to drive development & innovation as key enablers for this growing Aero segment. In this critical role, you will oversee a team of engineers and analysts, ensuring the delivery of designs aligned with the product requirements

- Safety and Quality Assurance: Implement robust safety and quality assurance processes to ensure adherence to GEV standards, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Operational Excellence: Manage program timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver products with exceptional quality, on time, and within budget.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the fluid systems design team, ensuring alignment with product requirements and industry best practices. Advance key package technology improvements: configuration simplification, compliance scheme, I&C simplification.
- Team Management: Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of engineers and designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative global work environment.
- Stakeholder Accountability: Provide accountability and interface coordination with internal customers, including supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, product management, etc.
- System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of fluid systems with mechanical, electrical and controls systems supporting a modularized packaging solution for gas turbine power plants.
- Product Innovation: Be a catalyst for Gas Turbine & Accessories innovation in key strategic areas like H2, quality, gas turbine externals & preferred configurations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience.
- Systems design for gas turbine accessories and/or plant preferred.
Desired Characteristics:
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a global, multi-disciplinary engineering team.
- Safety Leadership: Strong focus on promoting and maintaining a culture of safety within the team.
- Technical Acumen: Technical expertise in aeroderivative gas turbines and associated support (GT accessory) equipment. Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer principles. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Operational Judgment and Accountability: Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex technical, and operational challenges.
- Collaboration (One Team Mindset): Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, commercial, and sales. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering high-quality technical solutions and maintaining strong customer relationships.
The base pay range for this position is 131,700.00 - 219,300.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% bonus.
