Job Description Summary

The Senior Engineer will be responsible for Document Control/Records Management control aspects of engineering development, implementation, launch, continuous improvement, and expansion of record management product suite related to project delivery. The person will collaborate with Engineering to develop and prioritize record management decision making related to features, product-market fit, and broader data/record management roadmap.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage documentation submittals from customers, suppliers, and internal partners based off project deliverable requirements.
  • Transmit documentation as needed to relevant parties while following internal requirements.
  • Facilitate record management change management process and audits.
  • Facilitate communication and engaging business and IT management to encourage Record Management efforts and value propositions.
  • Be responsible for successful implementation, initial support and maintenance of configuration management information system (CMIS).
  • Create, upload, and manage records within the product lifecycle management tool.
  • Review and approve all changes to the CMIS infrastructure where applicable.
  • Review and approve significant IT infrastructure changes to ensure impacts to record management data are addressed.
  • Mentor the organization of Record Management services, concepts, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide and approve all requirements, use cases, user stories, etc. to support new or improving CMIS functionality.
  • Review and publish Record management reporting.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Document Control/Records Management.
  • Minimum 10 years experience of Document Management for Capital Project Execution.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters Wilmington, NC but qualified remote candidates will be considered.
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience of Document Management for Capital Project Execution in the Nuclear industry.
  • Experience with change, configuration, document / drawing management.
  • Experience in implementing new engineering support tools and their periodic updates.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP and Enovia's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool.
  • Experience in a regulated industry such as: power, process, marine, medical or oil and gas but preferably nuclear under a 10 CFR 50 Appendix B Quality Program for safety-related systems, structures and components.
  • Familiarity with 10CFR 810 regulation.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities, resources, and task priorities.
  • Process oriented with ability to facilitate continuous performance improvement.
  • Open communication style and proven ability to develop team relationships.
  • Knowledge of nuclear business products, business processes, customers and competitive environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Clear thinker, detail oriented, insightful, quantitative, balance, results oriented analyst and leader. Able to make reasoned, sound, and timely decisions.

The base pay range for this position is $112-160k. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 3/20/2025.

The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
