Job Description Summary

All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property.

These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives.

The role is subject to operating policy objectives.
There is moderate autonomy within the role. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

Job Description

  • Serve as a liaison between internal/external organizations and your assigned customer(s), own the customer relationship, and contribute to the overall business strategy and growth.
  • Develop and own site customer communication plan, coordinate and facilitate regular GE/Customer meetings to address all open items and action plans and reviewing existing and new GE products/services that could provide value for the customer.
  • Oversee Gas Power warranty and applicable commercial considerations including concessions as they arise balancing maximum benefits for the customer and GE
  • Be responsible for outage/non-outage parts planning including requests for quotes, providing quotes to customers, placing/managing parts orders through delivery, and invoicing for parts as applicable.
  • Accountable for GT Outage planning and execution processing of all Change Orders as applicable.
  • Provide leadership in owning and driving all emergent/forced outage matters to resolution.
  • Prepare, organize, and facilitate pre-outage planning meetings, post-outage meetings and outage milestone meetings.
  • Own contract leadership and fulfillment including all project deliverables and understanding the T&Cs and contract requirements such as LD & Bonus structure.

Basic Qualifications/Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University or College (OR Associates degree with 5-10 years of experience in a power generation industry)
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of Gas Turbine/ HD knowledge and experience within the Power Plant or/and Tech Field services and outage management.

Other Eligibility:

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of your time where GE Gas Power part of Vernova is contracted within the primary location as listed;
  • National Relocation Benefits are offered to US citizen / No sponsorship or Immigration support offered for those highly competitive roles available in the USA as posted with preferred locations: VA.

Desired:

  • Strong leadership, financial and commercial skills
  • Experience planning and executing maintenance and upgrade outages while working on deliveries with the customer leadership teams.
  • Demonstrated communication & organizational skills.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $115,000 -165,000 USD Annual.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This Senior Professional Band position is also eligible for A Variable Incentive Bonus of 15%.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
