Roles and Responsibilities
- Supporting growth opportunities and initiatives of PCS NAM. The transactions typically include the full range of customized engineering solutions for O&G, metal, renewable and power industries.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating NAM strategic contracts.
- Supporting the project organization in relation to NAM claim management and managing outside counsel, when brought in to assist
- In conjunction with PCS Global Chief Compliance Officer and global/local technical regulation and standard, EHS, Risk and export control functions, supporting the implementation and maintenance of a strong compliance culture in NAM, including overseeing audits to assess compliance with processes and applicable regulations.
- Work with the global sourcing team to develop efficiencies and improve processes, as well as negotiate strategic supply agreements.
- Working with the company secretary on matters of NAM legal entities corporate housekeeping.
- Providing training on contract risks, claims, and regulatory compliance.
- Under minimal supervision, plans, conducts and supervises complex legal assignments.

Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school; Member in good standing with the State Bar
- Minimum of 3 years of legal experience
Desired Characteristics
- Minimum of 5 years legal experience at both a large law firm and as in-house counsel
- Background in large industrial equipment manufacturing and capex projects.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills. - Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills to connect easily and effectively across PC global organization.
- Adaptable/Flexible: Being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances.
- Clear thinking: Simplifying strategy into specific actions with clear accountability, making decisions in an expeditious manner; communicating priorities clearly and concisely.
