Roles and Responsibilities
As the Senior Change Management Engineer, you will:
- Execute and control the change management process, with the aim to authorize Enterprise Change Requests and introduce Enterprise Change Orders in the wind turbine products and SCADA product under control.
- Support evolution of change management process at an enterprise level.
- Review parts affectation to Form, Fit, Function and Interchangeability (FFFI) and document exceptions to FFFI to authorize specs, drawings and parts revision.
- Monitor Changes status and support Program Managers.
- Determine requester satisfaction with change request and with downstream teams.
- Supporting training and communication as part of change management. Activities may include designing or delivering specialized training resources to appropriate userbase.
- Be familiar with CM2 philosophy and guidance, to assist Renewable Energy Onshore Wind configuration and product definition procedures to comply with or continuously improve execution practices.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of how PLM is utilized to manage parts, product definition, and related data throughout the entire product lifecycle.
- Support product structure strategy to break product down into systems, subsystems, functions, parts that individually or in combination with other parts perform a specific function.
- Propose product structure solutions when parts or functions overlap.
- Proactively review and continuously improve product structuring for Renewable Energy Onshore Wind products.
- Understand all part types, their purposes, requirements, & behaviors, and recommend appropriate usages and prevent misuse.
- Understand all types of documents that are used to control part requirements.
- Understand the hierarchy of part families as well as attributes, attribute values, and attribute groups and ensure correct assignment for Renewable Energy Onshore Wind products.
- Work closely with Product Line, Program Management, Engineering and Global Supply Chain to identify Product and Project requirements that are clear, concise and valid.
- Support the GE Digital Industrial Strategy, including Digital Thread, Brilliant Factory, Digital Twin, and Digital DNA (Understand how it relates to Renewables PLM Strategy).
- Collaborate with Global Supply Chain to understand and support site specific unit BoM requirements.
- Assist Configuration Product Owners (CPOs) with regular updates on current product portfolio.
- Support the cut-in of new product offerings (new features and/or new products)
- Support testing and training activities for new CM/PLM processes.
- Leverage external/internal best practices to identify continuous process improvement opportunities.
- Complete critical business deliverables (NPI, Fulfillment and tools/process development).
- Audit configuration processes to ensure compliance and consistency.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 5 years Industrial Change Management or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering or related technical roles
Desired Characteristics
- Proficiency with MS Office Tools
- Experiences working in a global environment with multiple cultures and time zones
- Strong English written and oral communication skills
- Highly accountable and strong learning/continuous improvement mindset
- Experience in Renewable Energy technologies
- Experience with PLM, Configuration Management and related software (Enovia/Aras PLM, 3D CAD software, and Oracle ERP)

- Open team player with ability to work at all levels of organization
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal as well as business skills and quality mindset
- Experience with the Institute of Process Excellence (IpX) Methodologies. CM2 certification is preferred.
- Experience in Configuration and Change Management methodology with demonstrated successful implementation and usage
- Project Management mind-set that includes planning, schedule commitments, and efficient resource controllership
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in configuration and change management
- Experience with PLM system development and data/process migration
- Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills
