With an order volume of 3.6 billion US dollars, Power Transmission (PT) employs 7,000 people around the world. The product portfolio includes transformers, air- and gas-insulated switchgear, power quality products, and the sf6-free g3 technology.

The Central Europe region represents a market volume of +$500 million orders in 2024 and +800 employees. Driven by the energy transition, the region's market is expected to grow significantly in the coming years. The region includes three industrial sites: Mönchengladbach, Kassel, and Berlin in Germany,
Who YOU Are:
We are currently looking for our next Sales & Proposals Manager to cover the European Region, probably with main focus on the East Europe region.
You are familiar with our industry, products/solutions, and market momentum. You also bring over 5 years of hands-on relevant experience with similar tasks listed below. Besides, you also bring a polished communication style that can influence different audiences, have the right technical understanding, and pay close attention to details when it comes to customer engagement and relationship management.
Preferred Location: Germany (Berlin, Mönchengladbach, or Kassel)
Optional Location: Paris, France.
Main Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead of the offer process commercially and technically in conjunction with AMs (account managers), PTR (power transformers), tendering team, and other units.
- Preparation of tender, coordination with supporting functions and lead approval process in line with PT Policy.
- Developing and implementing a winning strategy for offers, including industrial schemes, contractor/partner selection, and Grid Solutions Integration
- Track the market trends, growth and strategic of PTR offering.
- Closely and effective interaction with customers to maintain and promote PTR products.
- Present the offer, clarification/contract negotiation in front of customers.
Additional Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Explore opportunities, define strategy, and shape demands.
- Daily cross-functional collaborations to present and validate solutions.
- Work closely with account managers to prepare closing and order booking.
- Get involved in Quality and Health & Safety processes/discussions when needed.
- Constantly review our strategic goals and re-direct them if needed.
Key Requirements:
- Engineering degree in Power or Electrical Engineering with relevant hands-on experience.
- Over 5 years of progressive working experience on sales or tendering, preferably in a similar industry within a matrix/international organization.
- Strong technical knowledge of Power Transmission or Grid business is a must.
- Fluent in English and German (mandatory for role based in Germany ) or French (mandatory for role based in France)Fluent in English and German (if based in Germany) or French (if based in Paris) are mandatory.
- Proactive mindset, excellent cross-functional collaboration, and well-structured communication
- Natural-born negotiator with a high-sense of relationship management.
