- Perform visual inspection and dimensional control of all incoming components from wind farms or suppliers.
- Perform non-destructive tests on gear and shaft parts (inspection for magnetic particles and penetrating liquids)
- Apply the UT technique to identify potential shaft defects as needed.
- Be able to perform standard quality control checklists and measurements according to drawing specifications in the repair shop.
- Mastery of the use of metrological precision tools for inspection (micrometers, rugosmeters, hardness tests, UT, 3D measuring devices/laser scanning)
- Supervision of the gearbox load test procedure, monitoring temperatures, vibrations, cleanliness and oil pressure.
- Perform the electrical tests of the cabinets mounted on the refurbished Nacelles, Hubs, as well as carry out the final operational tests of the unit.
- Occasionally, it is necessary to work in narrow areas using ladders, platforms, scissor and arm lifts, more than 4 m above the ground.

- Forklifts.
- Mobile elevating work platforms

Required Qualifications
- School Diploma of Mechanics, Electricity and/or Electronics (FP2 in Spain)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a repair shop. Preferably from the Wind or Aeronautical Sector.
- Knowledge of ALSPA MD 2000 Frequency Converter
- Knowledge of ISO, AGMA and other standards applicable to the design, repair and failure modes of reducers and shafts.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 Standards.
- Be able to understand and read the lubrication analysis, according to ISO 4406.
- Complete knowledge of bearing and gear mounting procedures and bearing clearance tolerances.
- Be able to inspect using borescopic devices.
- Knowledge of vibration and temperature measurement devices, being able to understand data and readings from vibration monitoring equipment and data trends.
- Level B2 in English
Desired Characteristics
- High ability to read, understand and follow mechanical, engineering drawings
- It is also essential to have previous experience and certification in handling forklifts, personal lifts, and overhead cranes.
- Self-motivated to work with a minimum of guidance and willingness to learn from others
- END Level II certification training.
- UT Level II Inspection Certification Training
- CAT II Vibration Analysis Certification Training
