Job Description Summary
The Quality Technician will support manufacturing operations of ceramic cores and investment castings. Working closely with Process and Quality Engineers in QA & QC of products; developing processes and manufacturing standards/work instructions for new technology; maintenance, operation, calibration of equipment used in production and testing; data collection & review, package preparation and submission process for quality acceptance of product for shipment, , organize and maintain the long term quality data storage. This hands-on role will require the individual to be willing to learn and work on a wide variety of leading edge manufacturing processes and components.

Essential Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of the quality data review and submission for approval process for product shipment
- Quality support for product release. Coordinate all aspects of the quality data review and submission for approval process
- Compilation of Monthly Reports.
- Prepare & communicate weekly/monthly gauge reports for factory.
- Ensure all gauges are compliant with internal and external QMS requirements.
- Interface with calibration vendor to coordinate gauge calibrations.
- Identify and escalate gauge quality problems to support resolution
- Maintain and organize inventory of gauges not actively in service
- Proficient in MS office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Proficient manufacturing computer programs (GOM, VG Studio, Python, clear orbit, Fiori)
- Set up, calibrate, maintain & operate equipment.
- Perform material testing on a variety of materials for production and process development
- Coordinate all aspects of in-process inspections.
- Evaluate and determine disposition of non-conforming materials and formulate corrective actions.
- Document standard operating procedures for daily operations, inspections, maintenance, environmental health and safety compliance.
- Provide process and quality support for development, first piece qualification, process improvement and productivity activities of new and existing suppliers and in-house qualifications.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Associates Degree and 4 or more years experience in manufacturing or quality (OR a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Manufacturing or Quality.
• Knowledge of relevant Excel / Word packages and familiarity with Electronic Management Systems.
• Ability to understand, interpret, and create written technical information (i.e. Engineering drawings, machine manuals, and standard operating procedures).
• Strong verbal and written skills.

Desired Characteristics
- Experience with ceramics & investment castings
- Experience performing materials testing
- Experience operating and maintaining additive manufacturing equipment
- NDT Experience. (CT, DR, Grain, FPI, UT, VT, Borescope)
- Proficient manufacturing computer programs (GOM, VG Studio, Python, clear orbit, Fiori)
- Understanding of inspection criteria and CTQ's
- Ability to evaluate the available data to make decisions on material quality
- Ability to work effectively cross functionally
- Lean Principles.
- Experience with QMS ISO9001 and AS9100
- Prior union environment experience.
The base pay range for this position is $1035 - $1466 weekly. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on March 31, 2025, or thereafter.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
