For our Oberentfelden site we are looking for a Qualtiy Engineer FAT, who will be responsible for Factory Acceptance tests with customers for GIS projects and will support Quality assurance in production following routine testing and non conformities resolution and analysis.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Organizes, accompanies, and carries out factory acceptance of GIS primary and secondary components autonomously, as per international standards and norms as well as the customer specifications.
  • Creates the technical test program and ensures successful acceptance, if necessary, with preliminary tests.
  • Is available for technical questions and discussions, for the interpretation and explanation of the test values and results before, during and after acceptance.
  • In cooperation with R&D, defines the test methods, adapting the test plans to the newest requirements.
  • Implement and further develop quality assurance processes in development projects (FMEA), in product maintenance (change management) and for assembly.
  • Functional management, training of testers, management of routine test documentation.
  • Follow-up resolution and analysis of non-conformities in production.

Requirements

  • Ideally Engineering degree, Quality technician.
  • 5 years experience with production/technology of GIS.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High autonomy combined with a proactive and pragmatic approach to work.
  • Fluent in German & English.
