Job Description Summary
As part of the Global Operations team for HDGT NU Project execution organization, we're looking for a candidate to cover the position of Projects Operations and Continuous Improvement Manager. This is a critical role requiring strong leadership, highly energetic person, with strong clear thinking and willingness to challenge the status quo.
Operations: Partnering with the Pole teams and cross-functional stakeholders within the Gas Power HDGT NU organization maintain and improve the global Ops cadence, prepare the key reviews, keep the Business Bowlers and Metrics updated ahead of the Monthly Operating reviews. Help leadership to prepare major business reviews.
Continuous Improvement: Partnering with Lean, developing framework and lead key strategic initiatives, drive standard and optimized solutions for projects execution processes. This role requires strong collaboration skills to drive business critical initiatives with an endeavor for consistent and rigorous application throughout the project execution cycle at Portfolio level.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementation of the operating rhythm across global projects/programs to ensure consistent process compliance
- Cooperatively coordinate cross-functional monthly metrics bowler reporting rhythm and updates
- Lead the continuous improvement of some workload forecasting process as well as other strategic initiatives implementing Lean principles to drive Project management organization productivity
- Work with Poles and functional teams to identify processes and related QMS procedures to be improved. Drive the preparation of the standard work for Global Operations
- Collaborate to senior leadership reporting presentations for major strategic operational reviews
- Create data framework, collection, automation and periodic update. Measure and understand process performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business or other technical or business-related field or equivalent experience
- Major experience in Project Management or sub-division of Project management with significant experience in Global Operations
- Ability to independently lead/navigate and influence the relevant stakeholders in a complex, matrix organization to drive global change management initiatives
- Self-starter, result-driven, Clear thinker professional with an ability to focus on the "critical few" issue/priorities to problem solve. Able to communicate messages clearly and concisely. Ability to translate strategy into business objectives
- Excellent English communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including EB+), functions and Poles delivering clear messages to influence teams to achieve the expected results
Desired Characteristics
- Project Management Leadership Program graduate
- Expertise in Continuous Improvement or Process Improvement initiative
- Flexible attitude to adapt to different time zone
- Six Sigma Master Black Belt or Black Belt Certified
- Successful track record of implementation of wing-to-wing process improvement initiatives (from strategy to full deployment, including related documentation)
- Strong analytical skills including management of KPIs and reporting experience
- Good understanding of key systems used by Project Execution team
About Us
For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $132,300-$220,500 USD Annual.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a Variable Incentive (VIC) Bonus of 15%.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
