As related customer equipment, faciliaties or infrastructure projects: responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources. Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results.
The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

Job Description

Project Manager - Spare Parts and Training

• Spare parts:
• Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of spare parts inventory, procurement, and distribution within the project portoflio. The primary objective is to fulfill the customer's requirement with regards to spare parts as well as to ensure timely availability of those for a successful Reliability, Availability & Maintenance period. You will define a wing-to-wing strategy from spare parts list definition (for customer, for construction & commissioning etc.) until handing-over.
• Coordinate with RAM team and get all relevant documents/informations
• Prepare an overarching spare parts list according to Contract Requirements as well as for
  • Commissioning
  • Operation
• Coordinate with sourcing/procurement to define required spare parts for each purchase order
• Prepare RfQ's and follow up until handover to customer including all relevant clarifications on packing, delivery, custom clearance
• Lead handover procedure to customer
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across GE units and suppliers. Resolving issues and conflicting requirements in a timely manner
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the spare parts store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
• Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to optimise stock levels and minimise shortages.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely replenishment of stock and negotiate favourable terms.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, creating a secure environment for both staff and customers.

• Training:
• Responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the delivery of the customer's requirements with regards to training programs. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify training needs, developing curriculum, and ensuring that customer receives effective and relevant training to meet organizational goals, as per the contracts.

• Other packages:
• Depending on the need, you provide project management support on related packages such as storage, customs & logistics etc.

• Master's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Preferably a technical degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project management, preferably in the T&D, Power, or Renewable Energy industry
• Language: English (mandatory); German (not mandatory)
• Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Results-oriented and able to meet sales targets.
• Adaptability to fast-paced and changing environments.
• Financial acumen for budgeting and expense control.

• Ability and interest to deep-dive into issues; mastery of MS Office tools (e.g., Excel) to support these analytics is required;
• Excellent coordination and cooperation skills; a team player who is willing and able to work with others to solve problems and share knowledge;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. German will be an add on;
