The Project Management Specialist support the respective Project Director in planning and executing contracts for the design and construction of new nuclear power plants, including managing the quality, cost, and schedule of the execution process. Additional focus will be made toward project administration and configuration management of project documentation to assist the Project Director.

Essential Responsibilities
As the Project Management Specialist, you will:
- Be responsible for on-time project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources
- Assist Project Director in organizing project cost structure in Oracle ERP
- Participate in customer, internal, and/or supplier project kickoff meetings and support the Project Director with preparation & coordination of customer, internal, and/or supplier kickoff meetings
- Develop and maintain a project roster including assigning and monitoring timely completion of project related training activities
- Support the development & issuance of the Project Management Plan & related project plans and project procedures; promotes the implementation of project plans and project procedures across the larger project team
- Support the development and deployment of project infrastructure and project tools
- Ensure compliance with U. S. government requirements as applicable
- Support coordination of project activities; monitor and control progress on project deliverables
- Ensure the conformance of project deliverables with contract and project requirements
- Organize and archive project correspondence and records consistent with Project Configuration Management Plan
- Lead, draft, and issue project management meeting notes, action item lists, and project progress reports

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college -OR- a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience working on project
- Minimum of 1 year of experience using the Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or other STEM discipline
- Fundamental-level financial or accounting knowledge
- Demonstrated organizational skills, particularly when related to project execution
- Experience or familiarity with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) or Sodium Fast Reactor (SFR) designs
- Knowledge of the power industry, customer, and competitive environment
- Demonstrated ability supporting project budget, schedule, and quality objectives
- Financial control knowledge and understanding
- Demonstrated professional interpersonal and leadership skills, including high level of motivation, integrity, and self-confidence
- Ability to take initiative and to work independently
- Ability to influence others
- Extreme attention to detail, follow up, highly organized
- Demonstrated ability to balance workload under short deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Strong process orientation in approach to work
- Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
