In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with Development Team and prepare project plans with clear goals and details for team members.
  • Work with departmental heads, managers, and other stakeholders to develop team goals and delegate tasks to the appropriate team member.
  • Manage project schedules and maintain frequent communication to offer encouragement, amend tasks, and provide updates on goal progress.
  • Prepare a Project Budget and Approvals from the Leadership.
  • Coordinate activities to lead the team efficiently to achieve project objectives on time and must ensure a deadline that project must met.
  • Anticipating potential roadblocks, productively resolve issues and challenges and report to management to improve the quality of the project.
  • Support to team members to encourage and motivate them to maintain a healthy and positive work environment.
  • Mature a New Technology and Handover to Operation Team.
  • Identify risks related to the new technology (in terms of SQDC) and define risk control plan.
  • Worldwide engagement with plant leaders.

Skill:

  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Strong knowledge of Wind Manufacturing Process. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for troubleshooting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control.
  • Customer-service-oriented mindset
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities and projects at the same time.
  • Proficiency with project management tools, methodologies, and software
  • Adaptability to changing project priorities and requirements in the business.
  • Problem-solving skills to tackle team and project issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering with experience in Project Management.
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience managing hardware and software development project.
  • Cross-Functional, International experience and cultural awareness covering Americas, Europe, India and China.
  • Knowledge on 6 sigma methodology and minimum Green Belt certification preferable
  • Ability and willingness to travel 30% of the time for Project execution in GEV business unit.
