Job Description Summary
To Lead, Manage & execute Turnkey Projects of GE Vernova Grid Solutions in UAE, Gulf & Iraq. The candidate will be responsible for execution of Project management for Standard size projects from contract award up to the final acceptance of the project and warranty period. Project manager is responsible for scope, cost, schedule, stakeholder management, profit & loss accountability and risk management as well as quality and customer satisfaction for all assigned programs and projects.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Creating project schedule and procurement plan to ensure smooth project execution in timely manner with quality within cost
- Providing cost-effective execution of project milestones in accordance with contract specifications and quality standards to maintain and improve project margin
- Secure variations Orders claims management with customer & sub-contractors to leverage in the organization interest.
- Creating and delivering scope-specific work plans and budgets, alongside risk assessments
- Identifies and evaluates risk and opportunity assessments and ensuring implementation of resulting actions in one's area of responsibility
- Preparing and presenting Project Management Review (PMR) to management
- Managing and coordinating with customers/contractors in project execution in line with GE project management handbook Executing projects in accordance to GE Grid process and core values of safety and integrity
- Delivering project financial results: Sales & Margin, billing, and cash collection
- Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Drive Customer Quality complaints & Non-conformity of Product with different stake holders on root cause analysis and resolution process
- Report/resolve any non-conformances and process in a timely manner Demonstrate EHS and compliance ensuring Zero Deviation
- Identifies and evaluate EHS and compliance risks and proposes practical measures
- Support tendering/sales with Return of Experience of best practices and risks to avoid

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering relevant engineering degree from an accredited university
- Proficiency in English and Arabic is essential
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in Project Management, contract management.
- Familiar with Project Management and proven ability to lead & manage projects.
- Knowledge of the cross-cultural working environment and working styles of utilities in region
- Proactive work style, creativity, energetic & self-motivator with latest industry trends and knowledge
Desired Qualifications:
- Fair Knowledge of MS Office, SAP and Primavera is an advantage
- Knowledge of Grid Products such as Gas Insulated switchgear (GIS), Air Insulated switchgear (AIS), Power Transformers, protection relays and Substation system will be an advantage
- Willing to travel overseas for short business trips
