  • Lead the overall project strategy from project release through warranty for large a mega customer with multiple projects and product applications across Gas Power
  • Responsible for communicating strategy to the cross functional teams and various level of management in collaboration with the project manager
  • Lead a matrix team to ensure consistent execution / strategy across multiple projects in the portfolio.
  • Lead executive level report-outs out to review the overall health of the project.
  • Non-Turnkey Projects or Product/Equipment-Only Projects. Responsible for overseeing the project and direct or indirect leadership and/or management of project resources for small-medium sized projects (size in relation to GE company) that may include equipment-only, suites of products or non-turnkey projects.
  • Developing expertise in own function. May include roles that are experts in their discipline, providing professional or thought leadership . Influences policy and ensures delivery within area of responsibility, linking with other parts of the organization.
  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
  • Leads others to find creative solutions within complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Employs sophisticated operational/product management, manufacturing or engineering techniques. Interaction with adjacent functions needed to solve issues. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Presents business or technical discipline solutions to leaders. Communicates complex messages and negotiates mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view. Influences peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 10 years of experience as a Project Director in the Power Generation Industry.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

About Us

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $154,800-$258,000 USD Annual.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a Variable Incentive (VIC PW ) Bonus of 15%.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
