Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Analyst to join our team for overseeing financial and operational performance of our projects in Latin America. If you have expertise in cost monitoring, financial analysis, budget control and want to contribute to the success of challenging projects, this position is for you!

Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and Control: Supervise the progress of projects in Latin America in terms of cost, schedule and quality ensuring that objectives are met.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis of projects, including cost forecasting, variance analysis and performance reporting.
  • Budgeting: Prepare, monitor, and adjust project budgets in collaboration with management teams.
  • Reporting: Prepare financial and operational reports for senior management, providing insights on project status.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks associated with projects.
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement processes to optimize the financial and operational efficiency of projects.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or related fields.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Project Controller, preferably in large-scale projects or multicultural environments.
  • Financial Skills: Strong knowledge in finance, budget control, cost analysis, and tax legislation applicable to Latin America.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with project management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Smartsheet and advanced Excel).
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to perform complex analyses and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory, due to the role's focus on Latin America.
