Job Description Summary
The Regulated M365 Leader will have overall organizational, financial, and strategic technical leadership responsibilities for GE Hitachi's Digital Workplace M365-GCC High products, tools and applications, The leader will build a world-class team of architects and engineers focusing on ongoing product leadership, enhancement, deployment and operational support of all regulated M365 products in the Microsoft M365 product suite both currently and in the future, for GE Hitachi, ensuring business continuity, capacity management and incident response.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Defines the future vision and roadmap for GE Hitachi's regulated Microsoft M365 capabilities in support of achieving the business goals of various business units while ensuring compliance with governance standards and controls. Responsible for product strategy and day to day tactical execution.
- Product leads all aspects of current and future GE Hitachi Digital Workplace Microsoft M365 Tools and related in house developed and SaaS best in class products used to augment M365 capabilities including design, deployment and operations.
- Maintains a strong network with his peers especially as it relates to productivity and collaboration tools, as well as the Network, Cloud, Hosting, Cyber and Compliance organizations; manages risk and dependencies between organizations.
- The leader will coordinate with Vernova HQ and the four Vernova business units to meet their requirements for regulated M365. Works closely with the GE Vernova businesses to understand their needs for regulated M365, and translates them into solutions utilizing industry trends, best practices while applying solid judgement to ensure the regulated M365 toolset is kept optimised for the size and needs of the Vernova regulated businesses.
- Responsible for building and developing a world-class team. Leads and continuously develops a team across regulated M365 to ensure all required architecture, engineering and operational skills are present; implements and maintains regular operating mechanisms, motivates and develops the team continuously.
- Provides technical guidance and leadership to engineering and architecture teams to deliver quality cloud solutions utilized by multiple lines of business. Continues to drive the team toward delivery of the best end-to-end cloud solutions for the enterprise.
- Partners with senior leadership and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Provides clear direction by translating strategic priorities and goals into defined roadmaps, action plans and milestones. Works with cross functional leaders to understand and influence technical strategy, set priorities, and define technology goals.
- Acts as a strategist and champion for productivity best practices and operating principles. Understands the overall regulated M365 landscape, works closely with vendors and strategic partners, always up to date on industry best practices.
- Leads roadmap definition, technical architecture, prioritization and work-planning activities with key stakeholders, leadership, and engineering teams.
- Ensures high quality results are achieved by providing oversight, leveraging automation/self-service, monitoring key performance indicators, internal controls, and keeping abreast of market events and industry changes.
- Drives a culture of change and innovation which constructively challenges the status quo and leads to prudent experimentation. Has a growth mindset with the ability to adopt new practices and spearhead adoption.
- Oversees the quality, delivery, performance, cost, and scope for regulated M365 tools and engineering initiatives. Identifies and actively drives continuous cost optimization across his scope of responsibility.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
- 5 years of experience in the digital workplace domain and the Microsoft ecosystem
- 10 years of experience working in a heterogeneous IT infrastructure environment, with various IT systems, technologies, platforms, concepts, and applications
Eligibility Requirements:
- The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered.
- This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to U.S. export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of U.S. person status prior to employment.

The base pay range for this position is $112k-160k. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 11/4/2024.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
