Job Description Summary

As a key member of a global and matrixed design team, Program Manager is responsible for the development of value stream data to identify areas of waste within the software process. Work with Global team to manage critical Control programs covering Marine, O&G domains.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Program Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects in Automation and Control platform covering multiple global locations. Responsible for transforming and sustainment initiatives for Control and Automation platform.

As the Program Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and follow up on the NPI program plan, Work with Global stakeholders to ensure the right resources and budget are allocated
  • Ensure weekly /monthly follow up with all engineers ,Stakeholders. Generate weekly .monthly and yearly report required for the management.
  • Schedule reviews with stakeholders, CTH as per the NPI process .
  • Highlight issues proactively and ensure program success by collaborative working across regions
  • Create standard templates, electronically link to a web system to ensure engineers have rapid access
  • Establish a storage location for process documents for all regions.
  • Implement process in all regions to ensure everyone is following the SDLC requirements
  • Partnering with work teams and leaders to drive targeted and sustainable improvements tied to strategy and corporate objectives.
  • Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies
  • Manage risks and issues and taking corrective measurements
  • Work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor /Master Degree in Engineering field with 12+ Years Experience
  • PMP certified, Agile / Scrum Master certification
  • 8+ years progressive lean management experience required.
  • 5+ years in a leadership role (direct or indirect).
  • Periodic travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
  • High degree of proficiency SmartSheet, JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Outlook & Internet applications.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Able to mentor and coach team.
  • Ability to clearly express ideas, actively listen and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting

Desired Characteristics

  • Familiar with IEC-62443,NIST SP 800 Cyber standards
  • Proven project management experience
