Job Description Summary
The Production and Lean Manufacturing Manager will be responsible to establish a customer-based improvement strategy, which drives safety, customer responsiveness, lead time reduction, quality improvement, and cost reductions in line with business/functional objectives in our Repair Shop in Andoain (Gipuzkoa-SPAIN). This position is responsible for the project execution of all jobs at the site and those which require field services at customer site. The role will also involve implementing and managing Lean methodologies to continuously improve processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Provide total shop leadership with respect to EHS, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity and Compliance
- Lead the implementation of Lean methodologies to optimize production processes.
- Manage inventory to optimize cash flow while ensuring adequate quantities to support execution through leadership of warehousing & logistic activities.
- Ensure clear communication of key customer/business priorities to employees.
- Execution of operating plan.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
- Coach and develop employees to support their performance Development.
- Lead shop to achieve goals in asset utilization and process improvement .
- Continuously improve/simplify the shop operating rhythm to meet SQDCP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Productivity) goals.
- Maintenance of data integrity in ERP System (SAP) in relation to status, critical dates, availability/assignment of project materials

Additional Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure production goals are achieved.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
- Support customer meetings when required.
- Lead initiatives outside area of direct responsibility.
- Coach & mentor employees when needed.
- Owns job cost review/pacing rhythm to support production and drive accountability to execute relative to as-quoted costs.
Required Competencies
- Engineering bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Project management experience/qualifications
- Inclusive leadership & communication skills
- Must be a team player willing to sacrifice individual goals when needed
- Knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement methods
- Demonstrated ability to self-direct within defined responsibilities
