Job Description Summary

The Product Project Engineer is responsible for configuring FLEXINVERTER and FLEXRESERVIOR product, create Bill of Materials, Customer facing documents, drawings, and other technical deliverables for customer orders. Lead the engineering changes and ensures timely engineering approvals from customer. Shall be focal point for Customer project engineers and Project managers. Will be leading the coordination between cross functional team such as NPI, Supply chain and manufacturing to deliver project on time

Job Description

General Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary contact for customer project engineers and Project mangers
  • Lead Order To Remittance matrix including NPI Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Project Management and Services.
  • Study customer's technical specification to acquire all necessary information to determine the technical configuration/definition of product
  • Identifying any differences in technical definition of product from that offered and assists resolution with the customer and Cross functional team.
  • Lead Product configuration and creating Project BOM in PLM, Engineering change management & notification to manage changes all stakeholders.
  • Prepare technical documentation as per contractual requirements.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all company and customer's EHS policies and procedures
  • Lead Project Cost Out activities and introduction of new product variant/feature in project.
  • Lead Project Execution from ITO - till Commissioning.
  • Good understanding of product, solving and supporting technical queries of the project

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering from reputed College/University.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Electrical Design engineering, Project Engineering. Experience in Solar/ Wind or Electrical Drives industry will be added advantage
  • Experience in writing specification for MV transformer and RMU, having testing experience in transformer and RMU will be added advantage.
  • Knowledge and application of International Standards.
  • Analytical and innovative approach in problem solving
  • Proficiency in MS Office, PLM, SAP applications
  • Proficient in MATLAB, ETAP, EDSA, PSCAD, or EPLAN Electric P8 2.6 tool, AutoCAD 2020 will be additional advantage.
