Job Description
The Tech Sales group support the commercial function normally before a sale is closed. The main activities include prospecting, helping to qualify leads, performing product demonstrations, and helping to draft proposals.
You will join the team and be engaged in GE's cutting edge GridOS portfolio with a focus on the Power System Application product suite, building out compelling uses cases across product lines, including Wide Area Measurement Systems (WAMS) Effective Intertia, GridOS Data Fabric & Connect, and our new Modular Transmission Applications. Deploying and configuring the products to showcase the solutions to our customers and prospects in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on projects, working alongside other Tech-Sales engineers to configure, develop and manage the deployment of intricate enterprise software solutions suite.
- You will be encouraged to use your skills of programming, innovation and engineering and are encouraged to implement new ideas, develop tools and applications or improvise our methods in the projects.
- Contribute to various project activities, including data manipulation, server deployment, solution design, documentation, testing, troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- The role requires you to get in contact with colleagues, customers and various stakeholders in their day-to-day job which would require good interpersonal, effective communication and presentation skills both verbal and written.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Following Degree paths considered: Electrical Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Power Systems, or similar
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux/Windows environments
- Experience with Power Systems Analysis Software (e.g. Digsilent Powerfactory)
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Micro Services, REST Services, Certificates & Cloud Services.
- Knowledge of Databases, SQL, Oracle.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
- Legal right to work in the UK is required.
